Kyocera devices and Microsoft have traditionally used basic authentication in order to send emails, print emails and receive Internet faxes. But with Microsoft changing from basic authentication to the next generation of modern authentication, Kyocera needed to develop a solution for existing MFP/printer devices*. Kyocera Exchange Online Connector, a free utility, uses OAuth2 modern authentication with SMTP settings to send and receive emails and automatically print attachments and Internet faxes.
Microsoft is moving away from traditional basic authentication to the next generation of modern authentication. For existing MFP/printer devices to have the ability to send, receive and print email, and receive Internet faxes from Exchange Online.
Simple to set up and no training is required to use.
It is not necessary to upgrade the current device firmware.
Supports Microsoft 365, Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.com.
