Fairfield, NJ – January 20, 2026 – Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, is proud to announce that the Hirakata Plant (Osaka, Japan) has obtained Platinum certification under the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Validated Assessment Program (VAP) audit. This is the Company’s third facility to receive the Platinum certification, the other two facilities are KYOCERA Document Technology (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. (China plant) and KYOCERA Document Technology Vietnam Company Limited (Vietnam plant).
The RBA is an industry alliance aimed at supporting safe working conditions and workers’ rights throughout the electronics supply chain. Through its VAP audit program, the RBA evaluates whether member companies’ labor practices, ethics, environmental management, health and safety, and management systems comply with the RBA Code of Conduct, applicable laws and regulations, and other requirements at a high standard. Our Hirakata Plant achieved a perfect score of 200 points in the VAP audit and was awarded the Platinum certification which is given to facilities that attain this highest score.
